I agree most of the GP if asked, would say they don't want Britney to perform at the SB. However, I'm sure if she was announced as the performer, EVERYONE would be watching it anyway, just so they can tear her apart, so Pepsi or whoever is in charge wouldn't lose any views. No one would want to miss the show so they can make fun of every single bit of it.

Nothing can't harm Britney anymore at this point. She has nothing to lose, her albums and singles don't sell that well nowadays, and the fanbase that buys tickets for her shows won't stop doing it just because of a Super Bowl performance that the GP didn't like. And there's always gonna be people complaining about everything, even if some people in here say everybody wanted Gaga to perform the truth is yeah, probably some people were ok, especially after her singing the National Anthem, but there was people against her performing too. There is a lot of people that is just against pop acts in general performing at the Super Bowl, because they're not manly enough, or any other excuse. But that has never stopped the producers to keep having pop artists headlining the show.

They're just not interested in Britney, but in reality they're not that interested in what the audience wants either, or otherwise they would make polls or something more direct to ask the audience who they want to see at the show.

She declined a lot for sure but the Artpop singles are much bigger than anything from Britney Jean and Glory.

The NFL trusted Gaga in delivering a good Superbowl performance (and she did), they don't trust Britney the same way. That's all there is to it. Gaga proved to everyone she can sing one year prior when she did the National anthem. When did Britney prove she can give a good show?

Rihanna always performs to the best of her abilities though, Britney doesn't. And Rihanna has actually sang live (and well) for more than 20 seconds in the past 5 years.

No. It's a shame she didn't do the show in her prime when lesser stars will probably do the show/have done the show. As far as GP interest is concerned, I don't think they care if she performs at the SB. They won't beg for it but they won't petition it either. I think they need to work on her marketing, promoting, and overall image for B10 then try the SB for 2019 or 2020.

Rihanna sucks on stage and very rarely sounds great live
