March 3rd 2009 -  Britney embarks on a world tour "The Circus Starring Britney Spears" it was the highest grossing tour that year and was Britney's first world tour since 2004. Britney gave us a Blackout/Circus throwback hits show and it was a success. Ticket sales generated over 100 million dollars.

 

March 2000 - Britney covers Forbes magazine as Spears star power is on the rise so is her bank account. Sell out shows, selling millions of albums and singles all the while landing endorsement deals.

March 2000 - Britney's Iconic single "Oops I did it Again" is released to radio and hits #9 on the BB Hot 100. The video became Iconic for it's red catsuit, sexier Britney and the tagline "I'm not that innocent" Britney proved that when she performed Oops at the VMA's. The album would go on to sell over 1.3 million copies in one week, Britney held that record for over a decade.

March 2002 - Britney goes overseas to promote her first starring role in a feature film "Crossroads" Britney said she had the idea for this movie and they had a low budget for this film yet it's made over 100 million dollars in ticket sales, dvd sales so on and so fourth per manager Larry Rudolph.

March 2, 2004 -  Britney launches "The Onyx Hotel Tour" arguably her best dancing on tour, Britney showcased more of her siren sides all the while not missing a beat with the choreography.

March 25th 2011 - Britney releases her 6th #1 Album Femme Fatale. Lead single "Hold it Against Me" hits #1 on the BB Hot 100 and for the first time Britney has 3 singles reach the top 10 on the BB Hot 100. Till the world ends and I wanna go both had success on radio, the charts and video views.

Femme Fatale showcased Britney experimenting with more of a dub-step sound as well as reuniting with Max Martin (BBOMT)

Femme Fatale went platinum and on March 29th 2011 Britney announces "The Femme Fatale Tour"

March 10th 2009 - Britney releases her 3rd single off her comeback hit album Circus "If U Seek Amy"

Britney reunited once again with Max Martin for the song and the title generated headlines since the Circus tour Britney has performed this song in all her shows after.

As of March 2015, "If U Seek Amy" has sold 1.3 million digital downloads in the United States

It is her tenth best-selling digital single in the country the song peaked at number nineteen on the BB Hot 100 making Circus the first Spears album to have three top twenty hits since her 1999 debut.

The music video premiered on March 12, 2009, on both Virgin Mobile's official website and Spears's official websites.

March 2016 - Britney covers V Magazine, in one of her sexier magazine spreads in years.

March 2017 - Britney will continue to perform shows in Las Vegas for her "Piece of Me" residency.

In Britney's latest posts on Instagram our girl's body is slaying and Britney  is back in the workout zone.

What got me most was that V Magazine shoot is basically a year old already. I remember being at work and seeing the first pics on my break and freaking out. To me, that was the beginning of the amazing whirlwind (and unfortunately short lived) Glory era!
