I blame her team. If she had a better choreographer and wasn't forced to repeatedly tap one of her knees during MM, it never would've gotten so much bigger than the un-tapped one.

Yes, the knee tapping is one definite culprit.  I feel like the Slumber Party floor tapping choreo might've also overworked that leg.
