Maroon 5's new song sounds just like Britney's 'Better'

'Better' is one of my fav tracks... but now I'm not sure if it's single-material anymore since Maroon 5 just relased their new single 'Don't Wanna Know (feat. Kendrick Lamar)' and sounds very similar (which also sounds similar to most Major Lazer songs lol):

Yes it has a similar beat but that's about it. 'Better' is miles better than this song. Knowing how trashy the GP's taste is nowadays I wouldn't be surprised if their song does good since the GP have no ears

It's got the "feel".. maybe that's why Better wasn't a single contender,  i'm sure that they pick singles based on what other artists are going to release as well.  Probably to avoid having songs that sound too similar at the same time.

I love the new Maroon 5 song. Are you talking about Better by Britney Spears? Because no. They do not sound alike. This song pretty much has 2017 sound to it though.
