I HATE it when they say things like "She's back!" or "Is she back?" 

But at least she was able to manage A comeback (Circus Era) and has managed to stay 

Everyone else has kind of flopped downhill (XTina never came back from Bionic, sadly Janet Jackson never made a comeback, Cassie, etc)

I think people want her to comeback to the way she was before the meltdown. It's nice motivation but its not going to happen.

I really don't know why 'comeback' is tied to Britney as much as it was. I believe she said something similar for an earlier album release too. Comeback to me means the people that literally dropped out of the public eye. When Kate Bush released "Aerial" years ago, THAT was a comeback. The last album Kate had done was in the early 90s.
