My Ranking of Britney's VMAs - performances/nominations

1. 2001 - Performed Slave 4 U

2. 2000 - Performed Oops! (I would say the pinnacle of her pop career in regard to album sales etc) 

3. 2008 - Was the big winner of the evening with her "Piece of Me" video. Established her 2008-2011 comeback 

4. 2003 - Madonna Kiss, enough said.

5. 2007 - Although the performance was horrible, there is something iconic in the fact that a botched performance can be the most memorable moment of the entire award show. Def gained exposure for Blackout...

6. 1999 - Baby.. One More Time. honestly wasn't a great performance but most Britney fans seem to forget this because it has been idolized as her introduction to the VMAs. If she gave the same performance tomorrow night the legions would be fuming. 

7 - 2004 - How the HELL did Toxic not win video of the year. Worst EVER. And to freaking outcast "Hey Ya"
