Is it really better though? Bradley's review is full of inside jokes and language that only Britney fans would understand. 

Other than Jon Pareles, who I agree produced a misguided review in the Times, what old white man has reviewed Glory?

Personally, I find this too "preaching to the choir" - a Britney Stan writing for Britney stans. 

Well, that's why it's pleasant to read as a Britney fan.

A review from someone who is not familiar is interesting too but for different reasons.

This is such a well researched, honest and above all BEAUTIFUL review what I loved above all else was that there was no mention of her "meltdown" that Billboard and a couple of sites refer to, for her album reviews. THIS is the way to do it. Highlighting previous work, if necessary some aspects of her life and some appropriate comparisons. Its not as if they didn't criticize Brenda Joan (BJ) and PG... but they did in an appropriate, PROFESSIONAL way! BRAVO PopCrush!
