Make Me is a great track, but it's not an instant hit kind of song. Stop blaming the music video drama for it's supposed "failure" (It's too early to tell tbh). If you have a catchy song people won't care about a music video.

Slave 4 U would have been received the same without all the visuals and promo. I remember fans being very lukewarm about it in the beginning bc it was a different sound for her and it was mid-tempo like MM.
