Not surprised, she’ll be done with music completely since that’s not where the money is at. Im sure we will also be seeing more singers move over to acting like Dua Lipa.

All the pop girlies have had enough 😂 Britney, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Gaga, Miley, Ariana, Selena. I don’t blame them, it’s a lot. Some of them still do it, just not as big and often as say 10 years ago. Most of them hate touring which I can understand

Of course all she cares about is having a steady job and acting is easier with more money. Working a few months vs a year.

If touring was still profitable enough, they would be forced to do it.

I don‘t even know which artists I should follow anymore. Iv’e unfollowed a lot of them because I’m sick of seeing makeup shoved into my face every day. These pop girls take years to release something and lets be honest, most of the stuff tends to be pretty mediocre and generic anyway. It just isn‘t the same as it was. Eras arent as fun and unpredictable as they used to be. The pop world is in a weird state right now and I‘m tired of it. I need a nap

why shouldn’t she, she needs to put herself first. Then she can focus and do a good job. Music or not.

I think she pushed herself too hard and set the bar so unbelievably high that she would have to sacrifice her health and sanity to reach or surpass it again and that’s just not her M.O. now

I don’t see her releasing any time soon, though. At least certainly not this year. The “Joker: Folie à Deux” will be coming out in October and it’s certainly one of the most anticipated movies of the year, so she will be busy promoting, campaigning for the Oscars etc. 

I do miss her music, though. Pop is not the same without her.

It's all so boring and bland now.  The big music videos, the award show performances, the eras with 4+ singles are all long gone.  Why be a popstar and put in the work and budget for a music video that no one will even watch or a performance that will be forgotten next week when you can make bank selling makeup.
