Who decided the tracklist for “Circus” and why did they fail so miserably?

I completely agree - Circus had some major fails.

 

I never listen to Out From Under, My Baby, mmm Papi or Mannequin. But I LOVE all those unreleased tracks.

Also it's the greedy logic for fans to buy the standard and the deluxe, also the same with Femme Fatale and Glory

I agree, Out from under would've been ok as the closer track.

 

Take "my baby" off and put Phonography in

Take "Mmm Papi" off and put Amnesia in

Take "Radar" off and put Rock Boy in

Kill The Lights would've been a good opener.

Ok so firstly...I believe the tracklist is all over the place on purpose. I mean the whole theme of the era is basically a circus.

I do agree about something though. The bonus tracks on this album are amazing! Before I continue I must say that this is my favorite album period so I may be a tiny bit biased.

I think they definitely could have done a better job with what songs they chose to be singles to be honest. Like seriously...Radar? Lace and Leather would've been a great single.
