As paws down said, pretty obvious until recently stadium touring in the Us was not as huge or normal as it was in Europe, as sports was most arena.

it just wasn't a big thing even u2 did more arenas in the us, but til the 2010s, yeah stadiums wasn't common..

 

It's still very much unpopular opinion with the public,as it's harder to see the favorite celebrity and as a member of new kids on the block, Jonathan knight hated their stadium tour, as it lacked the emotional connection he felt he had with arenas, money wise great, but the people in the back, he said he really felt like he could hear them. But can't see them and that's Where he felt disconnected, so he fought for the arenas, Even if that means the cash flow is cut in half..
