WeatherBOI
So remember this? I'm writing lyrics for all of them! I'll post the google doc when I'm done! Here's Constellation: I never thought I'd find you here Or anyone, truth be told I was always taught the stars were something to aim for Not something I'd get to hold I never dreamed I'd get to hold Onto hope from something greater than a wish on fleeting light For the light slammed into me and turned me to dust And collided back together, not just a meteorite I never thought I'd see the retrograde Or any shift in how I perceive time But now everything goes quickly For our space in intertwined We are binary bodies Celestial spheres We sing and we dance Sounds that fall on no ears But we don't need sound to know we're not far apart We have coordination in our pulsating hearts We're a constellation, ordering light in the dark I never thought I'd see clouds up here Multicolored mists Flying through eon after eon Of creation in our midst We are orbiting partners Interstellar decisions In the sea of something so much bigger Than what we can ever envision But we don't need comparisons to know that we were set from the start We don't need visualization to know that we've made our mark Through our creation, our constellation guides the lost through the dark He Kept on Walking I close the door so slightly That not even I can know it's shut I simply can’t have anyone know where I’m going What I’m doing in this rut Because I saw him going hand in hand With a beauty half his age Through the promenade crowd and even God was proud At how well he had played And I couldn’t help but follow in the footsteps of my former man His head held so very high I caught up to him I said his name And he just kept on walking by It wouldn’t hurt me whatsoever If she would cease chasing my every step I’m not one for retribution Or revenge, but I can except Because I saw her tracing our footprints Every shadow; indentation Through the boulevard rush and it was hard to brush Her off my imagination Yet I couldn’t help but turn my head towards the woman so cunning and sly I looked back at her I cursed a slur And we kept on walking by Link to comment
