You ******* think you have the right to say what she should and shouldn't do. Like, if you hate every decision she makes, why the hell are you stanning for her? You can easily stop, and your problems will be solved.

I honestly wouldn't mind an extension, but for like, only another year. I don't mind her being out doing SOMETHING rather than nothing. She can't take time off, people would ***** either way. So as long as she's happy and it's HER CHOICE, I'll support her regardless

Those are too extreme and very hard questions to answer tbh like two extremes with no middle ground, I say no to both on personal reasons and wishes. However, what's best for Britney I think is to take a break, not a retirement, from the industry for at least 1 year. I don't know, buy a ranch in Kentwood Louisiana or something and just live a simple life for 1 year, get back to your roots and what you love, heck even have a baby girl we all know you want one, write some songs, play the piano, have the family over for lunch, cook and bake to your hearts delight and just do what really makes you happy. I truly believe this would be extremely beneficial and healthy for Britney in the long term and I would want nothing but for her to be happy.

So, moreover, in saying that I do believe Britney Spears is someone who has proved she can thrive in the music industry and this is just a big/crucial part of who she is so, of course she would have to get back. And I think she would also say she has to get back to the industry because it's all she's ever known since being a little girl and it's something that makes her happy and a big part of who she is as a person. Hence, after this personal development hiatus I would indeed like to see her back in music and she would probably be happier and better than ever; if I'm being presumptuous.

As a fan, I enjoy what she is doing right now, POM- great album- televised performances. So there you go :verycool:

From 2012 and on we see our girl almost every week, we are spoiled. It's just that some fans choose to not look it this way :donewithit:

What's best for her, it's sth only she knows and I am sure she is doing more than fine to be a healthy woman, performer and mother.

She is smart, I just hope she doesn't allow others change her way of thinking...

She needs to "retire" so she can get her spark back. I mean, she seems really happy now, but if she took a couple years off she would probably feel extremely rejuvenated. I feel like she hasn't really taken much time off at all since the beginning of her career. I mean, after her breakdown it was straight into Circus.

She needs a break.

we aren't FORCING or DEMANDING her to do this. this is just a little poll and we're adding in our thoughts... :madonna:

Retirement is probably the best option now if she cares about her legacy.

She doesn't tho so POM will probably continue until the ticket sales eventually dry up and then her legacy will be even more tarnished.

It kills me to see my idol irrelevant to 99% of the GP :tiffanycries:

But it kills me even more to see her continuing to sabotage her own career by ditching amazing MVs and replacing them with embarrassing videos, ditching cool choreo in favour of bad choreo and putting POM above all else yet again.

You are just looking at it the wrong way I think.

It's as if you are expecting her to go back to the Britney of 1998-2003 - which is of course, never happening.

As she says, her 20's were horrible.

Britney is a different person to who she was then. Just like you'll be different to who you were 15 years ago.

Also, aside from the perspective of time - you have to think about her intent.

The intent from the beginning in her own words was to make a bit of money, and that was how far it went to. She never planned to keep doing this.

It's the exact same thing with the rest of the population. They aren't a clockwork toy. They are doing what they have to do to reach their goal and once that goal has been met, you have different wants and goals. You seldom meet someone who made their fortune early and has then continued to do the exact same thing that made them that fortune at the same capacity that they did at that time for the rest of their lives. Things change once that goal has been achieved.

The drive, that passion at the beginning was all for her to earn her fortune and to set up the brickwork for her to have the life she has now. You don't know what will happen in 2 years time, you have to go day by day and you have to make the money while you can. Stop thinking about 'legacy' this 'legacy' that because only a few care about that and it certainly ain't the gp.

POM, whether we accept it or not, is the right thing for her at this stage in her career.
