The Unauthorized Britney Biopic For Lifetime Is Titled 'Britney Ever After' And Premieres Next Month

A movie based on Britney Spears' rise, fall and resurgence in the spotlight is highlighting moments the pop star would prefer to distance herself from.

Lifetime is responsible for this 'Britney Jean' biopic travesty, which stars actress Natasha Bassett as Britney.

The network says the movie will detail the "tumultuous true story" of her rise to fame, fall from grace and triumphant resurrection, and clips filmed by paparazzi are already teasing what viewers can expect, and it's not looking pretty.

The two-hour movie will follow Spears' early career as a young girl from Louisiana, relationship and breakup with Justin Timberlake as well as her personal struggles following her parents' divorce. Also set to be examined are her marriages to Jason Alexander, Kevin Federline and her downfall that saw her lose custody of her sons before she rebuilt her career and proved herself to be a force in entertainment.

Production will begin Sept. 19 in Vancouver for a 2017 premiere. Reps for Spears confirmed to BreatheHeavy that the pop princess "will not be contributing in any way, shape or form to the Lifetime biopic nor does it have her blessing."

As filming continues, candid footage is spilling onto the Internet, some of which is deplorable.



In the video above, Basset can be seen recreating the moment where Britney stumbled on a cobblestone street in New York City while holding then one-year-old Sean Preston. She's holding a plastic doll while paparazzi snap away. Same with a separate clip on YouTube, except the instance is one from Britney's darker days: the infamous umbrella incident. In actuality, Britney was angered when a storm of paparazzi hounded her every move after she shaved her head and was refused to visit her children at ex-husband Kevin Federline's house which lead to her aggressively bashing a paparazzo's car. In the re-enactment, Basset is screaming at the shutterbugs and bashing her own car window before getting in to hide.

This is why Britney has not given the OK, and will never.

She wasnt even driving herself nor was she wearing pants. I hate lifetime and i hope that **** network gets banned from making biopics some how.
