I don't wanna disappoint you guys, but this actually makes sense to me. He was in a dark place, and apparently he was watching something on TV or in a big screen. I think he meant the movie he was watching;

He was in the car after leaving Madison Square garden, last time I checked there aren't big screens in cars.

It was related to the show because before the "Movies... big film" he said something like "don't forget to watch the performance this sunday".
