It's not ready to be released yet since it was just to dangerous and too ahead of it's time  

When team Britney realised that they could cause an apocalypse by dropping it too early they paused the project

I'm not sure. I think it was meant to be a standalone single but it could have also been for a scrapped album (which I bet could be the new Original Doll). I guess we will never know. I know there were rumours about Britney releasing a number of singles before releasing the album (which could have been Glory or an entirely different album) or an EP so maybe PG was supposed to have been one of those random singles.
