Britney Spears: Why Her **** Original David LaChappele Video For ‘Make Me…’ Was Canned

OMG! HollywoodLife.com is hearing EXCLUSIVELY,Brit, 34, was bringing two times the *** appeal in her original video. But why did the queen of pop trash it? “Britney wants the music to be more important in her career right now than any video,” a source toldHollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. Additionally, Britney wants to show a matured side to her. “Plus she’s a Mom and she wants to be a certain amount of **** and doesn’t want to over do it,” the insider added. “She’s got to a point in her career that she can control how she wants it to be and the video she released made a lot more sense to her than the original.” That is SO true!

Britney has definitely come a long way since the earlier and wilder part of her career. And while we absolutely loved her videos where she was dirty dancing on airplanes in flight (like in “Toxic” music video) or her shaking it off in a nightclub with her girls like she did in her “Gimme More,” video, we are appreciating the tamed side of the pop star.

For those who missed the amazing video, Britney is seen holding some sort of casting call for hot male musicians. And while she might have turned down the sexiness just a little bit, their was definitely still some heat. While the hunks showed their best to Brit and her friends, clips flashed of the singer strutting through an illuminated hallway in tiny lingerie and see-through bodysuits. And Brit even showed off some of her stellar dance moves. SO ****!

“Make Me” is the latest video from Britney’s highly anticipated, ninth studio album, Glory. Okay so Britney didn’t bring all of her  cards to the table this time. But we’re sure she still has a couple more tricks up her sleeve for her next video releases. We’ll just have to stay tuned.

HollywoodLifers, what did you think of Britney’s “Make Me” video? Do you wish she released the original version. Share your thoughts with us!

Britney Spears Fans Have Already Petitioned For The Original “Make Me” Video

What happened to Britney Spears “Make Me” video? This question still persists, thanks to a new petition.

Today (August 5), Britney released the final version of the “Make Me” video. It’s this lighthearted clip by Randee St. Nicholas, where she auditions (and toys with) men of all types for the leading role. But theChange.org petition, created just hours later, demands that RCA release the original version byDavid LaChapelle.

“[W]e Britney fans find that the music video is not a suitable representation of the song,” the petition says.

The esteemed photographer, who shot Britney as Lolita forRolling Stone in 1999, had a vision that was a lot racier. This entailed near-naked male dancers, a *** scene with featured rapper G-Eazy and Britney wearing only pink glitter, according toBreatheHeavy.

The petition already has more than 1,500 signatures, and as another scene from the original “Make Me” video leak. Preview what could have been below.

Britney Spears' fans launch petition for original 'Make Me...' video to be released

Britney Spears' fans have launched a petition to get the original version of the 'Make Me...' video released.

Initially, the pop star hired David LaChapelle to direct the clip, but later remade it with Randee St. Nicholas.
o TMZ it was scrapped for being "too ****", however Spears' team deny this. Instead, they say "it was utterly disjointed... pointless with no storyline."

Now, fans are demanding the original be released via a Change.org petition, as Stereogum reports. Nearly 10,000 fans have signed it at the time of writing.
"Since the music video for Britney Spears' lead single, 'Make Me…', to her new album Glory has been released, we Britney fans find that the music video is not a suitable representation of the song and we are calling for the original video to be released," reads the petition.

"(Yes, we know there was a video shot by David LaChapelle before this one, parts of it have already leaked). We ask that RCA Records/Sony Music Entertainment release the original video that was filmed by David LaChapelle for the song."

Earlier this week, Spears announced her ninth album 'Glory'. The record will be released on August 26.

What REALLY happened to Britney Spears’ original “Make Me” music video?

Britney Spears dropped her official music video for the track “Make Me…” on August 5, but not all her fans are happy.

A number of Britney’s fans took to social media following the music video release to slam Spears and her team, because it turns out the video was COMPLETELY different to the one that’s been leaking over the past few weeks.

The switch up got fans asking one big question: What happened to the original “Make Me…” music video?

Well, TMZ claims they have the answer, and it’s not because the original was deemed “too ****” after leaked footage showed Britney writhing around in a cage wearing nothing but red glitter (seriously).

According to the site, Spears team actually described to scrap the original video after they deemed that it just didn’t make sense.

According to the site, Spears’ team were “extremely disappointed” with the original “Make Me…” music video and felt it had no storyline, was “utterly disjointed” and “pointless.” Yikes!

That’s when Britney’s people enlisted the help of Randee St. Nicholas, who’s worked on videos for big names like Carrie Underwood and Toni Braxton in the past, who created the official video that was just uploaded to Spears’ VEVO.

However, David LaChapelle, who directed on the original video is telling a different story.

Sources connected to him told TMZ that Britney’s team actually did reject his original video because it was “too ****” amid reports that Spears stripped down to almost nothing, simulated *** with rapper G-Eazy and writhed on some nearly naked guys.

But while the true reason the original “Make Me…” video was scrapped is still a mystery, fans aren’t pleased.

A Change.Org petition urging Britney’s team to drop the original video already has close to 10,000 signatures and the YouTube comments section is full of fans demanding the release of the original.

She literally just was grinding on a guitar during her performance. She released BOM where she is being ****.

it doesnt make sense

I think it all has to do with the G-Eazy *** scene and issues with David not wanting to change anything or listen to her........I mean it's not even her in the *** scene.....you can tell it's some double grabbing him and what not

It's not even her...

Why would it be an issue when she literally was screwing her bf a few years ago in Criminal. Her sons knew him and will see that one day.  Literally it just doesn't make sense.

If she doesn't want to be **** anymore then she literally is going to have to fix her vocals and change direction.

We aren't going to sit her and listen to her lip ballads a whole show.
