Britney Spears is 34 years old. That’s the same age Madonna was when she inflicted her pornographic pop opus Erotica upon the world in 1992. It would only be fitting for Britney, an American icon who was once regarded as a potential successor to Madonna, to now explore the complexities of adult sexuality.

I don’t mean the petty posturing of Miley Cyrus sucking on a soother, or any of the other, faintly pedophilic bombshells of provocation the music industry uses to sell concert tickets. I mean something that popular culture has given up on, because the hectoring hordes of social justice raise hell any time an artist these days dares to approach the big issues with complexity, or subtlety, or any other message that isn’t, “Men suck and are all rapists!” I’m looking at you, Rihanna.

In Britney’s latest single, “Make Me… (Ooh)”, a trip-hop dreamscape about her quest for a dope a.f. ******, she expresses her desire for a man at his most primal. She wants him to take her like he can’t control himself, “like it ain’t a choice for you,” like a beast in the woods acting on some primal instinct. Like it ain’t a choice. A grown woman in 2016 making a public request for *** without consent? Whatever will the neighbours think?

Jesus Christ that's a long article and basically he's speculating it's social justice Warriors basically which I don't think is the case.

It was only a matter of time before someone said something like that! From either side!

but...maybe people didn't like the idea of her being in a room full of dudes being all grope-y on her.

Will we ever know!?

Not until Wikileaks - the Britney edition *crosses fingers*

There's no politics to the video. It was differences between teams, and there's no politics to the song. He's using this song as an attempt to justify radical right wing views that women who get drunk have no self control if they are ***** and its their fault, not the ******. He's trash, and ugly AF too.

While I agree with most of what you said, I thought his take on Britney's sexuality in her mid-30's was very refreshing. I said the same thing to my BF yesterday about how Madonna has always gotten praise and adoration for being overtly ****** as she ages while Britney gets shamed and is expected to be a nun. It's silly! All of it.

while his agenda may seem obvious, there may be a shred of truth to the fact that a lot of controversial opinions and different points of view are expected to become sanitized in this country and it's not always a good thing.

but I hate him for being a god-fearing, trans-hating gay-traitor.

i just thought he offered an interesting perspective to the conspiracies and controversy surrounding MM. Everyone's got a spin on it, I feel...and nobody is any closer to the truth.

Madonna wasn't praised at the time though, in retrospect, we all think she was constantly praised, but it was controversy, she was torn apart but it didn't stop her from doing more of it. Britney got similar controversy, but it was more accepted and praised for Slave and Toxic, to name but two. Britney always got praised for looking hot in her videos, but its the rumours that its her own team stopping her from showing that to us. Britney and her team happily filmed the scenes, and looked incredible too. This time, something else happened that had nothing to do with Britney being too ******.

Also, the people who **** shame her aren't liberals, its usually conservatives with right wing views, like Milo.

There's no truth to this. This is the usual ''...but everyone else has a problem'' articles from conservatives who believe that only they have options because they don't want options (equal marriage, ********, **** issues etc), making them right and anyone who says ''actually you don't know what its like'' is a ''SJW'' for not agreeing with them, which is silencing anyone who doesn't agree (and when the majority don't agree, then THEY say they are being silenced, or media bias). Milo is a mediawhore who has a career from outrage over his views. A sociopathic narcissist.
