  1. Grindr has announced its first original content series, Bridesman - and it's set to feature pop star Kim Petras in her acting debut. The series will follow a 'gay bridesman' who undermines his best friend's wedding. Created by John Onieal, the show will be comprised of six to 10-minute episodes that'll premiere in the autumn on YouTube as well as in-app to Grindr's 5 million daily active users. Grindr rep says new show will be "smart, queer, campy, and feature sharp commentary on gay dating, heteronormative standards, and Grindr itself" https://attitude.co.uk/article/kim-petras-to-make-acting-debut-in-grindrs-first-original-content-series-1/24588/
  2. I’ve never used Grindr because I’ve always felt like people on there were only looking for one thing. And also because I’ve always been in relationships since the app came out. I’ve recently moved to a new state and basically the only person I know here is my (now ex) who wants me back but also just told me he has a baby on the way. My question is — is it possible to use Grindr as a social networking app for friends? Are people on there respectful of those intentions? Also, if I eventually want to start looking for a relationship is it possible to find a quality man on there? By quality man I mean someone who believes in monogamy and isn’t too promiscuous. And I’m not **** shaming — promiscuous men are just more likely to cheat in my experience. And that’s a deal breaker. Tell me about your experiences on there cuz I’m bored and curious.
  3. Madonna and Grindr have a great relationship. Though it's members actually disapproved of this partnership since it began in 2015 during the rebel heart era. Her profile which is still is live. Lists her as A dominant top looking for a submissive bottom to take her strap on. It was very controversial. Sadly grindr didn't do any other celebrity promotions like this due to the backlash. But still. The only celebrity they endorsed is being discussed on a group chat celebrating 15 years of COADF. Despite the whole controversy and backlash. An app used for hooking up shouldn't be used for promotion for celebrities and such. Grindr got the message loud and clear. @JordanMiller @Roxxy
  4. Charli XCX doing a grindr dj set to help promote safe gay distancing and safe gay club distancing. Playing Madonna's 2000 gay anthem Music. Let's just say. It's the gayest thing out there as we speak
