  1. Guys... QUESTION: Is it normal for a lawyer who specializes in business and environmental cases to be working to get someone out of a conservatorship? If someone's goal was to get freed from a conservatorship, wouldn't you mainly hire a lawyer who specializes in conservatorships? The Dell Lawsuit was HUGE... he exposed corruption for the mayor of New Orleans and won against Dell. Gladstone N. Jones, III (“Glad”) is Jones Swanson’s founding member. In 25 years of practice, Glad has litigated both environmental and commercial cases in New York, Florida, California, Mississippi and Louisiana. He has garnered numerous honors for his work. Glad’s first major case, Friloux v. Exxon Corporation and Campbell Wells Corporation, in 1997, prompted changes in Louisiana’s rules concerning the handling and disposal of oilfield waste. Another one of his cases, Doré Energy v. Carter-Langham et al., resulted in what was then the largest land restoration judgment in Louisiana history—$57 million. In 2010, Glad was lead counsel on Active Solutions et al. v. Dell, Inc., et al., which not only resulted in a verdict against the technology giant Dell, but also set the stage for the later criminal conviction of then-New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin. In 2013, the Southeast Louisiana Flood Protection Authority–East hired Glad to bring a case against nearly 100 oil, gas and pipeline companies in what The New York Times called “the most ambitious environmental lawsuit ever.” The SLFPA–E case prompted private landowners throughout South Louisiana to bring their own land-loss cases, and Glad represents several of those plaintiffs today. So, what if his end game is not only to free Britney from her conservatorship, but also seriously look into the business practices of the conservatorship and lock some people up? I don't think he would take on the case if he didn't think he could win. I think we all could argue the conservatorship is a sham on our own with all of our evidence - any decent lawyer that Britney would have hired (if she was allowed before) could win the case. I feel like that's just a given at this point. Is it out of the question for me to think that someone's about to get indicted? I wonder if they catch corruption immediately if charges or a dissolution could happen before September. There's a lot of evidence out there, and it looks like a quick look at the books would give them all the evidence they need of wrongdoing. Maybe they are trying to build a case.
  2. Hey guys, I just wanted to bring something to y'alls attention. Some of the tweets that are against #FreeBritney and use the hashtag are very specific and designed to make Britney look like she is in dire need of a conservatorship... What are some of the other common hashtags these same people who are pro-conservatorship use? #MAGA... for most of them it doesn't look like they have real followers or even are real. Sounds like a very similar kind of disinformation campaign used by Russian troll farms in the 2016 election, because it's the same kind of tweets and accounts that tried to sway the opinion 2016 election... I'm not sure how to trace the origin of the pro-conservator pro-Jamie tweets.
  3. Guys, don't doubt Lynne. Let's be rational and use common sense. She may not be able to end the conservatorship singlehandedly on Friday, but it is a good sign she's even getting involved. Some **** has obviously been going down, and I don't think she would hire her own attorney, going behind Jamie's back, if they were working together. If they were, they'd put up a united front. You've seen pictures of them holding hands outside of court before. This doesn't look to be that. Since they're not working together, they probably have different opinions and intentions on how Britney and her life should be handled. From what we've heard, the conservatorship is bad bad and is affecting Britney's mental health. I doubt she would put Britney under the same kind of restraints and conditions as her father, because then what would be the point of her getting involved? At the very least, Lynne, like Roxxxy Andrews, is here to make it clear that the way they're treating Britney will not fly. I really can't use my logic to come up with any other reason than something that would be positive for Britney herself.
  4. How exactly is she "in"... like what did she do pre-2006 to make all these major industry connections that people with actual talent couldn't achieve on their own? I'm not doubting you at all, just trying to make sense of it. Also, I haven't seen azaleas opinion...can you link me? I'm very interested.
  5. But couldn't they make more money off of telling the true story than from Jamie? He won't be around forever. I always want to follow the payoff, but the Jamie payoff doesn't seem like it could be big enough for all these sources just to blindly follow Team B's narrative. Especially when there's so much other info. There has to be another reason other than Jamie is paying then off.
  6. Gatekeepers for... one source? Britney? Like it's got to be more involved than just Britney if they're working this hard to protect them.
  7. My thing is... the truth about #FreeBritney that TMZ and E! and People all call a "conspiracy" is way more entertaining and juicy than the story Team B puts out there for them to report. I understand wanting that check from Jamie, but how good can it be to pass up a great journalistic moment?
  8. Yes, all states are corrupt, but in Louisiana, the jurisdictions are especially small, so it really is ALL in who you know. I can't tell you how many people get off for crimes because of who they know. I wouldn't be surprised if Jamie got the conservatorship in the first place because of who HE knows in Louisiana.
  9. Yes, Louisiana is a very corrupt state, but Britney is very well-liked here. I don't think the court would typically let a parent take advantage of someone as popular and as respected Britney Spears. I just couldn't see the same thing happening down here.
  10. The governor JBE is very effective and would not suggest counsel for Lynne unless he knew the job could be done, so I really hope he did help pick the lawyer. His governorship has been amazing - bipartisan and he is looking out for all of his citizens. A true leader. I would imagine he has Britney's best interest in mind. I don't know why he wouldn't.
  11. instead of death threats to Lou, fan's should've just sent "satanic curses" lol it would've been funnier and more effective
  12. I'm just saying, don't feel like all is lost if Britney isn't released from the conservatorship this week. If anything even looks like it's being looked into, it's a good sign. Legal processes take forever, unfortunately.
  13. Absolutely. My point is that I've only heard positive things about Lynne, and only negative things about Jamie. Legal processes go beyond the individuals, so I think if Lynne gains any access to anything at the court hearing, it should definitely be seen as a win for Brit- because just going off what I've heard about her father, he is not a nice person.
