Was lady Gaga’s Paparazzi inspired by Britney Spears?

It’s my first time watching this performance it’s truly is art but anyway I can’t help but get a vibe, Gaga was inspired heavily by Britney Spears and Am winhouze etc

I think so... Who else had that much scrutiny and a toxic relationship with the paparazzi other than Britney? It certainly wasn't Gaga.

Yep I believe a lot of her material was intended for Britney. Like Telephone. Gaga made her own mark thats for sure.

Nice performance and all, but getting THIS dramatic about the paparazzi with all that blood THIS early into her career just felt unearned at the time. 

I remember liking this performance but also thinking she’s really getting ahead of herself and wasting her best ideas too quickly. I wasn’t that wrong, her act got stale not long after that…
