Poll: Should Britney play herself in the biopic?

I feel like unlike Madonna and her biopic, Britney is still young and can play herself in the biopic

wouldn’t that be super weird that she plays herself? might as well just do a for the record 2.0.

this movie will be more of an artistic adaptation of the book, besides other actresses have to play her when she was younger.

it would be cool she’s in the movie for a few scenes and plays someone else. like for example she was Madonna on glee.

Yes. She’s still alive and it would be nice if she was involved and not detached from the product.

I understand not doing promo for the book, but playing herself in a serious role would be pretty damn interesting. Plus we’ve seen her audition for The Notebook - she is long overdue for a serious role and she’s got the talent for it.

How can Britney play herself if she didn't even do a photo shoot for the book and People interview.
How can a person interpret, act out what she suffered. A documentary would be better at this point.

Give new talent a chance. I think she will be feeling better as a director/backstage... I don't see her acting again.

She herself has said she’s not the best actress. Nor do I think she’d enjoy reliving all of that. I don’t think she’s mentally capable of taking all that on

Yeah the reality is she will only acknowledge it once on the gram and then back to regular Xila maria programming

- She doesn't look the same as she did in the past. Hair, body, skin, teeth, even the look and fire in her eyes are different. It will be very awkward to see her playing a younger version of herself. Even in her 30s.

- She has had trouble puting herself apart from a different character. Imagine reliving all her past traumas. It would cause her more and more damage to her.

– She became a shy person in front of the cameras. I really doubt she can act.

- She didn’t want to record an audio version of her own book. She won’t do the acting FOR SURE.

This. She can’t read one sentence from her book, right? She wouldn’t be able to handle filming, especially since each scene has multiple takes and set ups.

I just hope the actress will be able to capture Britney’s true essence, her fire on stage, also her dance moves, her strength and her vulnerability.

Actually, she read multiple sentences in the beginning of her book

Had the same thought! I think it would be great to see her at some point in the movie, as her future self.
