Is the price much lower? What would be the reason? Despair to sell or real estate crisis? I don't live in the USA but I've read about the real estate crisis in California.

I hope it’s because she’s getting out of LA. 
 

it’s sad looking at the photos of the inside and how big it is, knowing it’s just her staying there. And the staff obviously. Seems lonely.

There's a mansion tax, which is why there's been a mass exodus within luxury real estate market. But I'm not sure if that's the case here. I hope she's just moving on to greener pastures where she can find some peace.

Dang it’s huge. If I were in her place I’d get something a lot smaller, I feel like a mansion when you’re alone is even more isolating..
