I think Britney just didn't get that it was Halsey's story.

Which begs the question, why is she so out of touch with it?

Halsey has done nothing but praise Britney these last months...

Aw Britney she is signing about her own story and experiences and showed more than ever how heartbreaking the song is. But after watching the video I can see why her mind went there. Especially the toxic body suit and shaving of the head part.

I guess Britney was cool with her doing a song with her sample but maybe didn’t think of a video.. I personally don’t know Halsey’s story, but it seems like she’s been through a lot and made a video treatment about that and using growing up with and idolizing Britney to tell the story.

If they approve something, they should be aligned as a team. So yes if they give Halsey permission they should ensure Britney is aligned with the decision. So don’t give permission if Britney isn’t gonna be onboard.

Britney blasted a fast food worker for asking if she’s ok - she definitely wasn’t going to be understanding of Halsey sharing her own personal story. Britney thinks everything is an ATTACK against her. She’s exhausting

Britney 100% took it the wrong way since it's about Halsey's own personal life and her battle with leukemia. Idk they need to talk it out cause Halsey would never try to harm Britney at all.

You can like the song or not but the song is about Haley, not about Britney’s life. It’s about her fame and health issues and don’t portrait Britney’s life at all. She just use the sample to highlight how Britney helps her and other people to go through hard stuff. It’s even a kind message. Britney need to:

1-calm down 

2-find good friends 

3-some good manager who can explain things like this.

I support Brit everything but this wasn’t a good movement. And I kinda feel sorry for Halsey I think she made it with love and passion and with respect. And I’m not even a person who listen to her.
