I understand your question and also the fact that you're unfamiliar with audition processes. Talent without representation often auditions to TV show, films, ads, music videos, without knowing what the project is about. Even A-list actors get, very often, just a page for the audition. They don't know the script. They don't know who else will be casted. All involved parties are then cited in the media agreement provided to the talent that was casted or selected by the talent director. It's not unusual at all, as you can see on the number 1 casting platform in the US, which I have provided the link to. Nonetheless, I would like to keep this topic positive. Good vibes only!
