I mean, it has to be Doja. My theory:

Doja DID THE SONG, got in her head about her relationship with Nicki & stated she wanted to take the verse back bc she thinks Nicki doesn’t like her. Only to have her team reach out after to offer the verse back.

Nicki was disappointed, that’s it. It’s a bummer… Cowgirl by Nicki & Doja would’ve smashed — it’s literally their BRAND.
