While most females are known for two major genres Dance Pop or country music.

 

Rarely does females have success in the rock genre, Sheryl crow is one of those rare successes.

 

But she sure ruffled feathers, Madonna getting banned on MTV for her video's is one thing.

 

But she never saw an album get banned from sales in a chain like wal mart. 

 

Sheryl did, and it affected her sales..

 

Her track love is a good thing, saw sheril get banned as she states that people who do mass shootings bought their gun at their local wal mart, this was 1996.

 

When wal mart banned most sales of guns in 2019, during promo of her last album, that was a question she was asked a lot and applauded them, but shaded them saying, they waited until it happened at their establishment but that's the norm, isn't it. 

 

However, she throws them under the bus., saying wal mart screens the lyrics, so they called her and her label for an emergency Meeting saying change it to K Mart, we agree there is a problem but hate it's us being called out..

 

She didn't, lost a lot of sales, but has no regrets. 

 

Discusses how she wa 30 when "Tuesday night Music club" dropped in 1993, by 2002 the industry shifted towards teens and she was freaking out, saying she's 40, and is fearing Irrelevant cos of her age.

 

She had a huge hit witj C'mon, C'mon and teens loved the sunny vibes of "Soak up the Sun.

 

She also discusses back then overextending was a reality, but social media made it to overexposed doesn't exist and the more the public has access to your life, the better you are.

 

To Sheryl that's scary that such invasion is now the normal of the industry, and being a private person, she had to set boundaries..

Ironically she reveals it's for the detractors and naysayers, that if waiting for her downfalls makes them happy, why the hell are they so sad, cos it never happened the way they wanted it.
