Why Did the UK ignore this Song

this song is such a bop.  i loved it first time i heard it.  i thought it would do really well. but if failed to chart.  however it has over a million views on youtube. so at least that's something

it sounds too outdated, even for 2015. It would have been a smash in 2003-2005, that's where the sound comes from. It's very JLO early 2000s. Artists need production that is in touch with their current time, but will also bring something different in it to really set themselves apart from millions and millions of people trying to break through.

I remember reading Alesha's label cancelled the single release as they feared it would have charted really badly if it was given a release. That probably explains why it 'failed to chart'.
