If there's one show that has been more popular with a younger audience than it's attended audience is The Golden girls.

 

Which for an 80s and early 90s show was very progressive and very ahead of it's time.

 

From Blanche being the original Samantha, not afraid to be ****** and have several one night stands, though it stemmed from her Being duped on her wedding night on the series premiere when it was revealed the man she was marrying was cheating on her, Plus her beloved George was the only lover that she wasn't willing to replace..

 

Rose, cute and innocent, and very prudush. Think Charlotte. 

 

Dorothy was Carrie, while her mom was the Miranda of the show. 

 

Though not as Explicit in the Talk of that area like the other show. Even Blanche was way more classy than Samantha when it came about talking about men and positions. She viewed it as a night of passion where Sam viewed it as A funk. 

 

Rose would love Taylor Swift for her naive innocence, but just like Rose. Taylor can get the upper hand when it's needed..

 

Blanche would be fascinated by her ****** escapades and stories about the many lovers of her life..

 

Only Dorothy and Sophia would hate Taylor Swift for being A smut and pretending to be innocent to get to the top.

My dream is the The Spice Girls do a Golden Girls style show!  Just imagine Emma being the ditzy one, Geri being the political and wise one, Mel C being the one obsessed with fitness and staying young, Mel B being the nimpho and Victoria being the snoody one.  OMG, it would be fabulous.
