I love that song. I wish it could've been on the third album. I love the Britney album as is but it could've been even better if just had Britney songs on it and not Crossroads tracks.

Yeah, the demos could've replaced the crossroads tracks to make it perfect!

Flawless song is flawless  Such a shame that it's unreleased, it really could've been a standout track, and maybe even a single.

BTW, did we ever find out who does that rap?

All the songs she did with BT were really ahead of their time and "When I Say So" would have fit perfectly with the personal theme she set out to do  ("This album is like a diary and the most I've written.")  Instead we got an album that was more focused on sonically fusing the pop sound from her previous albums, with more R&B driven tracks, and songs from "Crossroads" tacked on.   Don't get me wrong, it's a good album but it really could have been so much more and "When I Say So" is an example of that.
