I think the conservatorship is about to end!

I've ALWAYS thought the conservatorship was mostly about them having control of Britney's contracts.

Her own comments about it last week just confirmed what I'd always suspected.

It sounds to me it's less about her own mental health than it is them having the ability to control the sound of her albums, her performances, style, and everything that makes up an artist's "brand."
