I actually really liked that interview!

She totally addressed her opinion on where she think she stands in the modern world of pop. And she is totally embracive of that fact that she technically isn't "cool" anymore, but also isn't TRYING to be cool either. She's interested in what other people have to say and gets inspiration from what's popular, but at this point is solely focused on doing what feels right for her.

i think she's slowly realizing that she's fading away and now she's wanting to put herself out there more. hopefully all this VMA drama will make her perform up to par now after seeing what her peers are doing
