VMAs, Carpool? Sales Impact on other artists?

What impact on sales, Itunes and stuff does a VMA performance or the Carpool Karaoke usually have? When it comes to other artists? I mean Britney won't be the only one to perform.. Is the rumored Beyonca performance still a topic? I mean other artists can shoot to the no.1 spot easily.. What happened in the past?

I'm sure Britney doing the VMA will have more impact on her than it has on other artists.

Same for Carpool because she has a reputation of not singing live.

Not a good idea in this case to look at other artists. I'd say you should at least "double" the effect for her.

Yeah Adele sold 5millions in the first week. But of course that not happen because Carpool, was because all the hype around her and her next album after 21.
