I know what she means. They're not bubblegum pop tracks, they're urban in that they have industrial and progressive pop instrumentals and rawer vocals. The overall tone for me is very hiphop-ish for a Britney album. Love Me Down is kinda like the will.i.am/Mike Will Made It/Miley Song I think.

Maybe Brit's interpretation about what's hip hop is different from the rest of us tbh....

I think what she might have meant is that the songs are dancey but they're edgy and vibey. It's not bubble gum pop. Just a guess

I'm sure she meant the melodies/rhythms in how she sings some songs. I noticed she had a lot of that RnB influence vocally.
