Update Aug. 15 - Blackpink, Lizzo, Jack Harlow and Måneskin will join the stage of 2022 Video Music Awards. MTV just announced this morning the first performers to take stage at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards to be held August, 28th at Prudential Center, Newark, NJ. The list includes the first time nominee brazilian global sensation Anitta, J Balvin, Panic! At The Disco and Marshmello x Khalid. "Anitta The charismatic global pop sensation is slated to make her VMAs main stage debut with a first-time TV performance of her newest hit single, “Envolver,” which recently earned the Brazilian superstar Guinness Book of World Records certification as the first solo Latin artist to hit No. 1 at Spotify. Anitta also is up for her first VMA in the Best Latin category, making her the first Brazilian artist to be nominated for a Moon Person." Nominations for the MTV Video Music Awards were out today and a brazilian is among the nominees. Brazilian sensation Anitta was nominated for Best Latin Video for "Envolver". Hope she wins!!
