Britney Spears is back in the studio, working on new music inspired by her upcoming biopic, according to sources. The 42-year-old pop icon is said to be deeply involved in the soundtrack, and the project has sparked her creativity, leading her to work on a fresh track that insiders describe as a "new banger."

A source close to the star revealed to DailyMail.com that Britney will not only be rerecording some of her classic hits but also plans to include a new song that reflects her life story. “She knows that this new track is crucial to building buzz for the film,” the insider said.

The biopic, currently in development at Universal Pictures, is based on her bestselling memoir The Woman In Me, and is set to be directed by Jon M. Chu of Crazy Rich Asians and Wicked fame. The memoir, which broke sales records, sparked a bidding war for the film rights.

Britney is putting her all into the project, meeting with producers and collaborating on both the music and film aspects. "Everyone wants to work with her—she’s Britney Spears," said the source.

In recent years, Britney's life has seen a positive turn. Not only is she excited about the biopic, but she has also mended her relationship with her two sons, Sean Preston, 18, and Jayden, 17. After years of a strained connection, the pop star has been working hard to reconcile with her children, a process that has been ongoing for months.

Family insiders credit her older brother Bryan Spears for facilitating the reunion with her sons, and Britney has since visited them in their new home in Hawaii. Her relationship with them, along with the film project, has been a source of renewed strength for the singer. “The film and her bond with her boys have really turned things around for her,” the source said.

Britney’s return to music and focus on her personal life mark a new chapter for the star, whose career was long overshadowed by the highly publicized conservatorship. Fans are eager to hear what’s next from the "Toxic" hitmaker, who hasn't performed live since her Las Vegas residency in 2017. While she once expressed reluctance to perform again, citing trauma from her conservatorship, her involvement in the biopic and music creation suggest a promising future ahead.
