I was born in 1994, but I never heard of her. I wasn't living in the U.S. in those years, maybe she wasn't popular in Latin America.

Oh ok. Yeah she was only popular mainly in the US.

She never got international due to her record label problems.

No this is true I think. I remember reading years ago Britney wanted to sign Jojo but she couldn’t because of how young she was (this was years before Jojo released her debut album). Britney and Larry Rudolph were apparently supposed to start a production company.

Actually that’s not entirely true. Her albums didn’t go top 10 here. Leave (Get Out), Baby It’s You and Too Little Too Late were top 10 hits here though.

@PerfectLover. Jojo is wonderful. She started a rerecord project for her songs a few years ago. Her voice was amazing and she was going places.

It's true. Britney was supposed to manage two artists in 2001, JoJo was one but it never happened. She's mentioned it before
