KJ Apa of Riverdale, stars in Michael Bay romantic thriller "Songbird", loosely based on Covid 19

KJ Apa is one of two Main stars, the other being Sofia Carson, in a Romantic Thriller.

 

Songbird, Produced by Michael Bay is already getting trashed by Critics and Audiences alike, for basically romanticizing Covid-19 (dubbed Covid 23), with most of the world about to head into lock down again. 

 

What would make them think it's okay to do a film like this.. FYI this was the First major production SAG-AFRTA authorized after restrictions lifted in the US.
