HBO Max removes the iconic film Gone with the wind.

One of the most beloved films and considered a great story is 1938's Gone with the Wind.

 

But it's definitely a product of it's time. 

 

HBO Max removed it from its streaming platforms. They plan on adding it back. But they are adding a historical discussion before and after the film. To give hindsight on the Film's racist stereotypes and how in 1938. It was accepted. But was very wrong then and still is. 

 

Complaints about it's immediate removal caused HBO Max to basically announce it's coming back but after some neccessary things happen to explain why the film is very controversial today.
