There is a way to get out of record contracts. She could take legal action and break her contract by buying her freedom, but the only people who do that are extremely motivated, passionate artists. I don't think Britney cares enough about the industry and her legacy to do anything in line with that.

Britney's situation is very different and difficult because you forget that she is under her cship as well and probably has found a way to balance out her life the best she can personal and professional. The music speaks for itself along with the extensive promo and her fitness/mental health. She can only do so much.
