Well..... We wouldn't have gotten Baby, Oops or Britney. Her first 3 albums wouldn't exist.....

wouldn't have gone well because it was not wanted by the public. Spice Girls had ended  and no one wanted a new all girl group in 1999 so soon again.. but a solo backstreet girl or nsync girl was perfect for the market because there was none. Hence Britney Spears. And soooo many copy cats followed, some were just late or unfortunate to come out right after her and never got even half as noticed. It's like Justin Bieber--a fresh male teen was wanted by the public who had decent songs and he did it perfectly and the timing was  perfect because there was none. Cody Simpson and Austin Mahone are like Jessica Simpson and Mandy Moore--they happened to be in the works too but came out while JB was everywhere and they just come off as copy cats. Shawn Mendes took his time and is doing very well though.
