he is of course a great songwriter and singer but let's face it... it's overrated for a Nobel Prize IN LITERATURE. this is all so overwhelming! 

plus, he made a lot for US music scene in particular, because of his style and lyrics. of course he influenced musicians all over the world but this is too much for a global prize, imo. 

Bjork, Patti Smith, Leonard Cohan, Tom Waits, Paul Simon, Elliot Smith and even MAX MARTIN are/were all amazing songwriters!!!! because they gave a lot to the industry of MUSIC. not actually literature in particular.
