She was originally a Baptist, but then converted to Kabbalah with Madonna (see the end of the Everytime video). I'm not sure if she's converted back to being a Baptist as per her dad, or just making her own religion Praise Godney.

I remember growing up and watching her on TV she was very close to God... and then everyone made a huge deal with the Everytime video because she had the red thing on her wrist meaning she converted to Kabbalah. Some people thought it was a slit wrist too

The Kabbalah thing was just to follow the movement.
