Why is there no second single...? Is this a terrible sign?

This is sort of weird... everything just completely stopped. 

 

I was was so impressed with the promo she had last month. Also with the amount of performances she has lined up. 

 

But on the albums end... there is no mention of any of the other songs... or any hopes for a second single... which would be devastating

I'll be so pissed if we've got this flawless album and only have Make Me as a single.... And the cheap *** video. 

But in saying that, during ITZ era, MATM was pretty much dead in the water by the time the album came out in November and Toxic wasn't released till March.

We're just going through a lull because I'm sure they thought Make Me would still be climbing the charts by this point tbh. They clearly scheduled the festivals thinking she would have a current hit on the radio. Make Me's death caught them off guard, and you know Britney's team couldn't come up with an emergency contingency plan even if their heads were going to explode.

 

I think they were going to use the festivals to test the reactions to whatever other song(s) she performs and whichever gets the best reaction gets to be single #2

I think we will for sure get a second single. Nothing was planned this era and it is messy so it's not shocking they are taking forever. Maybe they also are getting a feature on the track (I hope not)

IMO the 2nd single shouldn't be released till later this month, like around iHeart/Apple Music Fest.......I mean MM just rebounded on the chart 2 weeks ago and was just at a respectable 33 last week so I can see why they held off plus Gaga just released her single.
