They should! look at drake he was accused of buy the number 1 of his album and buy tons of streams for one dance to get that #1, everybody in the industry does and it's like do promo right now and at #1 will boost POM tickets sales and we know is what they want.

Then none of those copies would've counted. After Gaga's 99 cent deal, if an artist sells their album below $3.49 (I think) then its ineligible to chart.

Anyways, I've never understood why an artist doesn't buy copies of their album to make it sell better  Especially ones like Beyonka and Gagz who are thirsty af for success.
