Are Bonus Tracks included in official album reviews?

I'm curious is official reviewers (i.e. ones that get included on metacritic) typically listen to the Deluxe and review that rather than the standard.

I feel like those couple songs plus the ***** singing an entire one in french is needed for the album to be more critically well received which will def boost sales.

How Change Your Mind & If I'm Dancing didn't make the standard cut is beyond me
