A beautiful non-revealing review by Serbian Gossip blog

I did not expect this blog to put the review so quickly, even though they didn't reveal completely everything about the tracks, they basically described the album and the whole thing. It's a popular gossip site here, if not the popular, aside from actual magazines. I translated the whole text, since Google Translate would **** it up. The title is basically "The most memorable lyrics from Britney Spears' new album"

Quote

On 26th of August Britney Spears' 9th Studio album will be on sale, and we are giving you a more detail look into what's coming.

Even though Glory was righfully announced as something we don't expect from the pop princess, it's also everything that we love the most when it's about the 34-year old singer. First single Make Me... was a great intro to what's coming.

We witnessed how much the pop music changed to what was mainstream 3-4 years ago, and Britney certainly followed this transition really well. It's certain that in a few days we will hear the music critics say what they said about Rihanna's ANTI: No1 album with no No1 hits (even thought Work was atop the most sold for 9 weeks).

Like Rihanna, who gave up on classic pop songs, Britney also turned to chill variant, so the whole album sounds like something we would hear in the end of the evening at a club, when everyone is already tired and just wants to sway along the smooth rhythm. Even though Glory is slightly melancholic, it does not become boring at any point, because of its unintrusive erotica in which it's colored. The erotic charge does not escalate, so it seems like Britney's keeping us on light fire, and she doesn't lead her lover to his peak, she just flirts with him, seducing him discreetly and makes him make the first move.

Even though the whole album is made for the moment when we close our eyes and just enjoy the music, there are 2-3 breaks in the songs which are filled with guitars, mouth harmonicas and other instruments that are unusual for Spears. You will find some sirtaki (syrtaki) rhythm, and also some parts sung in seducing spanish language, just like she can only do.

This album is maybe missing a ballad like Everytime or an electronic banger like Work *****, but in a more simple form you will find those elements in all songs. To the loyal fans of this blonde singer the biggest surprise will come in the parts that sound like something we have heard on the albums In The Zone or Blackout.

Glory closes with a song Coupure Electrique, sung in a pretty off and bad accented french, but without a worry that it will come to a reception that one of the local stars have come across when she tried singing in french. (This is the local star which hyped this french collab and she sung in french which was quite awful and made fun of, it became a meme here)

And in the end we leave you the most memorable lyrics from all 17 songs from this album. (though some are badly picked, the pictures are cute)
