Why all the cheap product placement?

Why do they keep putting all this obvious tacky product placement? It's been happening for a while now but Make Me feels like a next level advert. 

I honestly find it more and more difficult to watch with every coming video. To think she started off with budget Walmart costumes and now they're throwing in as many commercial products as they possibly can. It's difficult not to feel her direction is so far removed from her beginnings, it's no wonder the public cannot connect with her new music or videos. Who wants to sit through what is essentially a giant ad? At this

stage, it's hard not to believe that they are just financially motivated and have no artistic direction.

And the artists who don't use product placement, how do they pay for their videos? People are tired of commercialism but team Brit embrace it in the worst possible way. It's low culture and will never connect with anybody outside of this forum should it continue in its current form.
