Britney Spears has not reconciled with her children, despite reports to the contrary.

Stories have surfaced 18-year-old Sean Preston and 17-year-old Jayden James have seen their mom and have been communicating for months. Sources with direct knowledge beg to differ.

We're told the kids have had one convo with Britney -- on Mother's Day, but that's it. As for Britney visiting her kids when she traveled to Hawaii several times this year ... we're told that's not true -- the kids have not seen her for nearly 3 years.

Our sources say the kids have not permanently ruled out a reconciliation, but, as one source put it ... "Years of aberrant behavior and troubling conduct can't be easily erased." The source adds, "There's no evidence things have gotten better."

As for Kevin, we're told he has no objection to his kids re-establishing a relationship with their mom when the time is right, but he gets why they're not ready to do it.

So sad that she sacrificed her youth and freedom for those two spoiled brats. What a total slap in the face. If it’s true that they haven’t seen her in 3 years after all she had sacrificed for them and after all she’s been through, then they are ungrateful spoiled brats, sorry not sorry. 

And before we start the usual propaganda about how “omGz itZ hEr fAULt cOZ oF hER iNsta”… it was not like this 3 years ago. Those kids recorded footage of her and sent it to their loser dad when she had the cleanest IG imaginable.

So now it’s years of “troubling conduct”?? Am I hallucinating or did Jayden himself say in that interview that there was nothing Britney really did wrong? The imbeciles that run TMZ can’t ever seem to get their stories straight.

What is troubling is throwing your mom away like yesterday’s trash, while still happily accepting her child support payments.

I would never cut my mom off for 3 years, even if we don’t have the best relationship. And if she was struggling, all the more reason to go see her and do everything in my power to help.

Maybe they’re a lost cause at this point. My heart goes out to Britney, she deserved better than this.

This doesn't make any sense to me. The Daily Mail hardly ever writes good press about Britney, but yet they decided to come out with that story. Nick says it's false, then MVK gives a statement to ET, and then TMZ jumps on the bandwagon. I feel as though something happened behind the scenes (perhaps involving money/child support payments) and things changed. Either way, I hate this for Britney.
