Today Show - Special Recording

My friend works for the today show and said it's a special recording and not from  PoM. They were  fairly sure but it's not their piece and will know for sure later. 

I also asked them to find out how long and what songs.

I honestly have no reason to lie. I havent said any insider stuff before check my post history. However my friend wasn't  entirely sure and said he will see what they can find out. My friend always posts picture s from being behind the scene so

Didn't Britney say in an interview yesterday that she's flying back to Vegas on Wednesday, and isn't the today show thing being filmed from Vegas? That means she's not there today.

If it's pre-recorded they should be recording it tomorrow right? It couldn't be recorded earlier because some fans would have notified us that there were people recording the show for promo purposes. However, recording it tomorrow and releasing it on TV the next day sounds rushed to me, maybe the Today show is moving to Vegas to air a live performance?
